CUSTOM WELDING, HOT PRESSURE WASHING, PLASMA CUTTING, CARPENTRY & LIGHT DUTY REPAIRS MECHANIC SERVICE TRUCK

My Dad (James Curley Robinson - Farmer, Operating Engineer, Heavy Hauler, Diesel and Gas Engine Mechanic) taught me the basis of maintaining heavy equipment and vehicle servicing. In return though my education it has reduce my overhead expenses by obtaining this Mechanic Truck to service my trucks, trailer & equipment i operate and drive, just like my father driving a Ford 9000 and Kenworth W900L for heavy hauling.

The mechanic truck has been designed to work from rear and inside man basket being lifted with a remote operating the crane in removing and restoring Booms, Generators, Oil Coolers and Blades,

The heavy-duty mechanic and cooling system truck is for mobile overheating and Maintenance of company equipment and vehicles. We do not have the capability to be a 24-Hour mobile repair contractor at the moment and not a passion of ours to become one in the industry at the moment. If we get calls that we can't maintain. I will direct you to a company that can handle your needs ASAP

Rocky Mount Radiator

Bryan Braswell - Owner

555 S. Wesleyan Blvd. (U.S. Route-301)

Rocky Mount, NC 27804

(252)399-9191

bryan@rockymountradiator.com

http://rockymountradiator.com

They are equipped to handle your needs and i recommend you to them and Give my name (Tariq Robinson) for a Good deal on service. We will transport the Radiator or Oil Cooler to Bryan Braswell for repairs through our Brokering Division with door to door service to get you back to operations if need be.  Our main focus is reducing the maintenance cost to our inventory fleet at the moment.. Call the office to get professional help and directions to a fast and professional repair. We do professional service on all our trucks, trailers and equipment such as:

  • Brakes
  • Fuel System Restoration (Fuel Tank Flushing & Fuel filters)
  • Radiator and Oil Cooler Flushing and Testing
  • Tires Changing
  • Towing
  • Equipment and Vehicle Recovery

Other than a Travel Center Owner repair shop. You have to call for assistance and directions to fixing your vehicle or equipment needs. Call Tajallah Robinson and he will direct you farther to a health vehicle or equipment.

The Travel Center desire to help Owner Operators and Motorist in their travels through North Carolina is far greater than my capabilities and desire at the moment with a mechanic truck.

FABRICATION OF A BRIDGE TEST YOUR ENGINEERING SKILLS

Our Fabrication History

Now that you will have an better understanding of the different types of pedestrian bridges (truss, beam, and suspension), let N.J.R. Logistic Group  help you move forward with your project. We will work with you through the process of selecting the bridge’s structure, bridge material, and bridge design to fit your needs best.

Let the Peterbilt 589 Mechanic and Fabrication Truck Build your Bridge on Land and Let the Grove 64-50-1 450 Ton Crane lift your bridge in place.

Contact Tajallah Robinson (My Son) or Myself (Tariq Robinson) The structures team to start your pedestrian bridge process today

PERSONAL PROPERTY WALKING BRIDGES

Pending on the length and what this walking bridge will be built over. I suggest Steel overpasses

  1. If you plan on going over a pool, driveway, stream that is 15' wide or bigger Should be built with steel cross members if you use the golfcart on your walking paths or even just for pedes. What if your kids have a pool party or gathering. The weight not anticipated is what makes engineering wrong and liable for lawsuits. Yes not all clients can afford this type of luxury. The accident occurs when people not used to this type of luxury. I build for safety. If you want custom work show me the safety risk of having it or without it.. So insurance will cover me and you in custom work.
  2. How high the walking bridge above the ground you need to dig 3 x the height for support Columns in a earthquake or a violent tornado. You don't want a bridge to fly in a tornado. or move in earthquake breaking the concrete footing making it liable to fall be sweep away or taking in a storm
  3. Then you need to secure the weight to the other side  column. Wood is okay but it depends on the width and the weight being support in between the cross members.
  4. So i rather weld the entire bridge design and lift it over the home. I need to have the radius to go clear over objects within my load radius of my cranes. Or you will have to pay a lot of money fo me to design a crane to lift this type of bride with a radius to match and then you need the room to install this crane.
  5. It best to give me your thoughts of the idea and let me work the calculation of the lift and crane placement. I do the safety you do the design.
  6. Never let equipment ride over your septic tank or drain field

SUB-DIVISION WALKING BRIDGES

  1. It may be hard to build this bridge on dry land and lift. This type of bridge needs a crane to lift each beam independently to get the radius swing.
  2. A smaller crane and more labor cost to build vs. dry land lift.
  3. Need a Lift Truck on water float or you need some type of lift to weld the bridge to the bridge supports
  4. This type of bridge will require a full staff and hourly payroll that might not be suitable for most.

Coil Shipping Fabrication of a Trailer

On all open decks will be order a dunnage backet enclosure for 1/4" Aluminum Strips for welding and plasma cutting. Pending the tractor it will be a Stick Welder in General Freight and Logistics.

In Heavy Haul will be a Multiprocessor welder in case i have to haul an all-Aluminum trailer to save on tare weight only use Aluminum strips.

  1. Measure the Center width of the coil. If this measurement is 8' Length - I will weld (3) Strip to be 8.5' Length @ 34" Apart i will then weld the Coil Bracket to the frame. It is more easy to meld aluminum to steel then steel to aluminum.
  2. I will then Weld (2) Strips as the Securement frame to the trailer that connects the (3) Strips
  3. I will then allow the crane or forklift operator place coil on my trailer in the coil frame. The (2) Strips Frame get a Hole that is 3" on both sides for Trailer Securement
  4. I will weld Eye To Sky Bolts to the Side Piece Frame
  5. I will secure the coil the DOT Way first.
  6. Then I will run 70 Grade Chains (2) Over the Coil to Stop Movement by Rolling

Oversize Communications Fabrication of Trailers

I admit in Heavy haul you has many distractions if you look for identification of hazards. I look for things out of place and focus on that as a hazard. In that being said. I need space to turn a wide load for overhang (Charmin Jefferies and Lashawn Parks - Owner Operator Forum Podcast) In that being said i need to inform the public of my attentions and the size of the load.

  1.  It will be vehicles behind me. Blocking themselves from police. I don't move for the environment. The environment moves around me. if you can't see my mirrors i don't see you. If you don't see my steering wheel, You are in my blind spot.
  2. So that being said in the rear of lowboys and Booster will have custom hollow square hollow metal tube welded to the rear and gooseneck front matching trailer paint.
  3. This will have holes in it to bolt a smaller square tube inside to match the shipment width
  4. Inside the square tubes will be wiring for Vertical Lights for stop, turn and Amber Lights with a Overside Sign on Bracket
  5. On the 80-Ton, 100-Ton and Specialized will be a Cross Backet at Rear of Booster at 9'6" to 10'6" (12") Metal Strip Welded as a Frame for a Basketball hoop with Removal Bolts when not in use. The Goal will be 10' Rim Height

WALKING BRIDGES FABRICATION

TYPE OF PEDESTRAIN BRIDGES WE FABRICATE

Below are the 3 most common types of pedestrian bridges.

#1 – Truss Bridges

  • Truss bridges can be built in almost any type of landscape and can range in size from 30 feet to 200 feet. Their design can accommodate pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. Truss bridges are an ideal solution for long-span bridges.
  • This bridge is the common bridge most homeowners want on their property

#2 – Beam Bridges

  • Beam bridges, also known as girders, are ideal for shorter-span bridges. A side railing/handrail isn’t structurally necessary for a beam bridge. You can add a rail for safety or aesthetic purposes.
  • This is the #1 Bridge to have if you have undergound parking or pool on the property. It will be out the way and you can have limited columns on the property.
  • This is the bridge i have on my property for Golf Carts to travel to and from the house to all parts of the property and not effecting the horses i have on property as well.

#3 –Suspension & Cable Stayed Bridges

  • Suspension bridges are long-span bridges and require significant design and construction resources. These types of bridges usually take a few years to plan and build..
  • This bridge is the simplest but hardest to construct. It takes more engineering skills to do so. If the suspension bridge has one column it might be fairly Easy to construct.
  • Very expensive to build. and design. I have submitted two of these bridges to VDOT One in Tappahannock, VA (Route-360) and a Bridge to travel to Tangier Island and to the Eastern Shore of Virginia leaving out of Redbank, VA a Continuation of VA Route-360 for Tourist to Visit the Island and support the Island with a hospital and Post Office. If one of my bridges are used it will be called after my Mother (Memorial Naomi Jeanette Robinson Bridge) It takes 10 years to do a bridge of this magnitude.

Landscaping Bridges

  •  Can be added to personal homes or public spaces to enhance outdoor scenery.
  •  These bridges feature two levels, typically accommodating different types of traffic. Double-decked bridges maximize the utility of urban space
  •  Are most often used in green or public spaces and usually enhance their environments.
  •  The loads they carry are, in relation to highway or railway bridges, quite modest, and in most circumstances a fairly light structure is required

Class 8 vehicles, like semi-trucks, often utilize air disc brakes or drum brakes, and brake pads are a critical component of these systems. Air disc brakes use calipers, rotors, and pads to create friction for braking, while drum brakes use shoes and a drum. Brake pads are typically made of friction material bonded to a backing plate and are designed to withstand high temperatures and heavy loads

FUEL FILTERS REPLACEMENT, TANK FLUSHING & WELDING

Flushing a fuel tank involves removing and cleaning the tank to eliminate contaminants like rust, sediment, and water. This process can be done with or without removing the tank. If the tank is removed, it's cleaned with a specialized cleaning solution, then thoroughly rinsed and dried before being reinstalled. If the tank remains in place, cleaning solutions and high-pressure rinsing can be used to remove contaminants.

RADIATOR CLEAN , CHECK, FLOW & FLUSHING TESTING

To calculate the flow rate for a radiator in a heating system, you'll need to determine the volumetric flow rate, which is the amount of fluid passing through a cross-section per unit of time. This is often expressed in liters per minute (lpm) or gallons per minute (gpm). Several formulas can be used depending on the known values.

 Key Formulas and Considerations:

  1. 1. Volumetric Flow Rate based on Heat Flow:
    • Formula: Q = H / (ρ * cp * ΔT)
      • Q = Volumetric flow rate (m³/s)
      • H = Heat flow rate (kJ/s, kW)
      • ρ = Density of the fluid (kg/m³)
      • cp = Specific heat capacity of the fluid (kJ/kg°C)
      • ΔT = Temperature difference (°C)

2. Flow Rate based on Heat Load and Temperature Difference:

  • Formula: GPM = Heat Load / (500 * ΔT)
    • GPM = Flow rate in gallons per minute
    • Heat Load = Heat loss of the building in BTU/h
    • ΔT = Temperature difference between supply and return water
    • 500 = Constant for standard water properties at 60°F

3. Flow Rate based on Heat, Specific Heat, and Temperature Rise:

  • Formula: Flow Rate (liters/second) = Heat (kW) / (4.2 * ΔT)
    • Heat = Heat output of the radiator in kW
    • 4.2 = Specific heat capacity of water
    • ΔT = Temperature rise (or drop) in the radiator (Δt or dt)

TIRE REPLACEMENT (Michelin Authorize Dealer)

Class 8 tire changers, designed for heavy-duty vehicles, require specific equipment and safety measures. These machines can handle wheels up to 56 inches in diameter and tires up to 90.5 inches in diameter and 43 inches wide, and some have larger versions for even bigger tires. Proper training, following manufacturer guidelines, and using appropriate safety equipment are crucial for safe and effective tire changing.
